Will my pen fit?

Every pen we list fits inside the Norwegian's 8.5" × 3.5" EVA case. What changes is how many sit alongside the two cold gel packs.

The Norwegian is a flat EVA case, so pens lie side by side. Slim pens pack: Ozempic, Wegovy, Humalog, NovoLog, Lantus and other similar sized pens. All fit alongside both cold gel packs.

Counts based on standard insulin pens. Larger auto-injectors may reduce capacity. Slim pens pack tightest; the wider single-dose GLP-1 pens take more room. Have a pen not listed? Email contact@insulcoolproducts.com and we'll check it for you.

Answers to what people ask most.

What medications can the Norwegian store?

Insulin, GLP-1 medications, and many temperature-sensitive prescriptions:

  • Insulin — vials, syringes and pens (Humalog, NovoLog, Fiasp, Admelog, Lantus, Tresiba, Basaglar, Toujeo, Novolin R, Humulin R) and similar.
  • GLP-1 agonists — Semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy), Tirzepatide, Dulaglutide (Trulicity) and similar.
  • Biologics & autoimmune — Humira, Enbrel, Remicade.
  • Fertility injectables — Gonal-f, Follistim.
  • Eye drops and liquid antibiotics.

This list isn’t exhaustive. Always read your prescription label to confirm its refrigeration requirements.

How does the cooling actually work?

The Norwegian keeps your medication in the safe 36–46°F range for up to 8 hours using its two cold gel packs. A real-time LCD shows the interior temperature the whole time, so you’re never guessing. Freeze the gel packs before you head out, and keep it out of direct sunlight.

What temperature should my insulin be kept at?

Unopened insulin should be refrigerated at 36°F to 46°F.

Once in use, insulin can be kept at room temperature for a limited period that varies by insulin type, generally below 86°F. Check your package insert or ask your pharmacist about your specific insulin.

The Norwegian is designed to hold the refrigerated range. Cooling duration varies with environment and outside temperature, and it should be kept out of direct sunlight for best results.

What’s included with the Norwegian?
  • The Norwegian cooling case
  • 2 cold gel packs
  • Protective EVA case
  • Norwegian tutorial video QR code

Note: Hand-wash only — not dishwasher safe.

Can I travel with it through TSA?

Yes. TSA rules permit insulin, pens, syringes, and the gel or ice packs that keep them cold in your carry-on — they're exempt from the 3.4 oz liquid limit as medically necessary items, and gel packs are allowed even if they've partially melted. We recommend keeping your Norwegian in your carry-on.

Pro tips:

  • Tell the TSA officer at the start of screening that you have diabetes or medical supplies.
  • A doctor's letter and pharmacy-labeled packaging help avoid delays.
What if it doesn't work for me?

Two separate things, so here's both.

Changed your mind? Return it unused and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Return shipping is paid by the customer. Email contact@insulcoolproducts.com to start.

Didn't perform? That's a warranty claim, not a return — and it doesn't matter whether you've used it. If your Norwegian arrives damaged or fails to hold temperature or stops working within a year, we replace it and we cover return shipping.

Using your case will never disqualify you from warranty coverage.

How does shipping work?
  • Free US shipping over $75
  • Processing time: 1–3 business days from purchase
  • Carriers: UPS and USPS

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery for a full refund to the original payment method. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and in resalable condition. Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived defective or damaged.

Is it under warranty?

Yes — a one-year warranty from the date of purchase is included. The warranty may be voided by misuse or improper use, unauthorized repairs or modifications, improper maintenance or cleaning, normal wear and tear, or accidental or external damage.
